DIY One Direction Shirt

DIY One Direction Shirt. One of the easiest things I have ever sewn. Here is How it turned out:

How I did it:

First I made my pattern. I made my 1 and D about 8 inches long.

Then I flipped them over and traced them onto fusible webbing.

Flipped Over.

Pin your fusible webbing to the WRONG SIDE OF FABRIC. Iron on and cut out. I forgot to take pictures of this part :P

After you've finished this you'll want to go here on how to sew on your appliques. I used it and I was able to sew them on so easily! While listening to one direction. Of course. When you are done sewing on your 1 and D iron flat and you're done!

Finished Product.

I always see this shirt on Pinterest and wanted to buy one but now I have my own! My next project will be making my one direction TOMS. If I can't find them to buy I will stamp it onto a red pair of TOMS. :)

Have a great day! I hope my tutorial was easy enough to understand and that you have a One Direction shirt soon too!

I'm Back!

So...I'm back! Where have I been? Nowhere really I just haven't been crocheting much. I did make a hat and a headband and won two blue ribbons at the fair! I will put pics up when I pick them up. I have been reading a lot too. The Mark of Athena, (yes, I have been reading this series since I was in 6th grade but whatever. They're my age now!) The Hunger Games endlessly over and over again. Watching the movie too ;)

I have also been hanging out with my best friend Madison, and listening to One Direction endlessly. And school of course! Haha. So, In all that I have been knitting a scarf because my new addiction is scarves. And big sweaters. But, I haven't gotten around to making one because really if I can buy it at a thrift store for fifty cents it is much cheaper than making one. And easier. ;)

We have also moved so, I wasn't crocheting for a month during the time of our move. I am feeling so motivated to crochet right now as I am writing this! As soon as I finish this I am going to go crochet something to post! I am also going to have my Etsy store up soon so be on the lookout for it!

Have a great day!

Hi Everyone!

I haven't posted in a while, So I hope you all didn't lose faith in me because I am back! The main reason whu I have not been posting is because I have been working on making all of the headbands you faitfhful followers have been requesting. I have also been sewing. I just made this skirt for my little sister Julia. I will have to post about it soon. I also have a new heaband design ready to go so I will put a post about that soon too.

You probably don't know too much about me other than I love to crochet and sew and have lots of brothers and sisters. I am the oldest of five kids. Hannah(me haha you knew that), Carley, Luke, Julia, and Jackson. Our wonderful mom homeschools us and has homeschooled everyone of us since kindergarten. I will be the first to graduate in three years. You probably guessed that I am a freshman in high school and I love to hang out with my best friend Madison. I sew just about everything. From skirts to P.J.'s to purses.

Have a great day!

Coffee Cozy

The ingenious Coffee Cozy. I love it. You don't burn your hands when you pick up your steaming cup of coffee and your cup doesn't sweat. ( I have no clue how your coffee would sweat. LOL)
(You can find the pattern over at Micah Makes)

The Coffee Cozy.  $5.00 (Plus Shipping)
The button closure. It would be quite a hassle to have it over the handle. That makes no sense :p
These make great gifts. If you buy them in sets of four you can get them all for $18.00.
Please comment below if you are interested.

Headbands

I have been crocheting headbands. Lots of headbands. For some reason they are just so much fun to make.  The Girls size 4-8 is one that I just made. I can make it in any color or size for $15.00. (plus shipping)

This is Julia my little sister. She usually smiles sweetly for the camera. Today that was not the case :p
This is my favorite picture I got even if it is blurry. :)
 Doll Headband. (included)
 Girl Headband....
Headband sizes twelve to adult. ($20.00 plus shipping)
